HOMECOMING GAME ENDS IN SWEET VICTORY
It was smooth sailing for the Westminster High School football team this past Friday with a win over Adams City High School.

In perfect high school football fashion, students and families filled up the stands at Memorial Stadium with the excitement from the week's homecoming activities. The best way to end the week and start the homecoming dance? A win at home!

The Wolves shut out the Eagles in a 63-0 win, making that their fourth straight victory this season. Senior quarterback Mason Kiewiet, had four touchdowns, throwing for a total of 181 yards.

A scoreless team faced a dominant defense, with picks coming from seniors, Devin Szabelski and Mike Davidson.

WHS football has shown great improvement coming off their second season under Head Coach CJ Hanna.

They finished the 2023 season 5-5 and are currently 4-1. There is still plenty of time to catch the Wolves in action as they have five regular season games remaining.
