Supporters of the Westminster Public Schools Foundation spent a recent morning at the Westminster Alamo Draft House movie theater seeing on the big screen the amazing work the Foundation does to support WPS students and families.
This year’s theme: “Paper and Pencil: Writing the Future One Student at a Time."
About 200 people attended the Breakfast on March 1, raising about $45,000 for the Foundation.
In addition to moving videos (see below) that showcased the impact of the foundation, the audience watched standout performances from the high school mariachi band and students from the Metropolitan Arts Academy who sang two songs from the musical “Annie Junior.”
The Foundation golf tournament is scheduled for June 5th at the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills. Interested participants can visit the Westminster Public Schools Foundation web page at www.fund.wps.org to sign up and learn more about sponsorship opportunities.
Also, there are several events coming up this spring with the Avalanche, Rapids and Rockies where discounted tickets are available.
